The barrier must be at least 1200mm high from finished ground level at any point.
A 900mm arc on the outside of the fence must be completely clear of footholds, including trees, BBQs, pot plants, and retaining walls.
Gates must swing away from the pool, self-close from any position, and self-latch automatically. The latch must be at least 1500mm high or shielded.
* Duplex 2205 is superior to 316 Marine Grade stainless steel, offering double the corrosion resistance—essential for salt water pools.

If your metal spigots or posts are within 1.25 metres of the pool water's edge, Australian Standards (AS 3000) require them to be equipotential bonded (earthed). This must be done by a licensed electrician. We can coordinate this as part of the installation process.
The minimum height for a pool safety barrier in the ACT is 1200mm (1.2m) from the finished ground level. Additionally, the gap between the bottom of the fence and the ground must not exceed 100mm to prevent small children from squeezing underneath.
Yes. We use 12mm Grade A Toughened Safety Glass manufactured to AS/NZS 2208. It is incredibly strong and resistant to impact. Unlike tubular fencing, glass has no footholds, making it virtually impossible for children to climb.
